You are here and once again I’m a bit indifferent. It’s not that i don’t enjoy a bit of holiday cheer , in fact holiday decorations and tastes and smells are all very appealing things.
What i don’t like is the insanity it creates. The obligation and guilt it produces and the after effect of feeling drained from it all.
I guess some of this does stem from the fact that since i can remember i have worked in some form of retail every holiday season since i was 15.
So when the 24th comes i just feel happy to have a few days off and look forward to a bright new start of the new year ahead.
And i must say am extremely interested in seeing what this next year produces.
Here’s to loving your friends and family all the year through and giving gifts for no reason as well as at Holiday time.
