I am cleaning out the studio and just put up a bunch of random stuff from past collections or just random one of a kind items.
Listings start at $4.
Looking for new models for future projects. I want to have a test shoot with some new girls. This will be a very quick test. In fact i will just be having girls come by my studio camera ready to take a few shots and see what your garment modeling capabilities are.
I promise 20 minutes tops this way its not a waist of either of our times. My office is locate downtown Los Angeles.
From there i will be picking girls for my personal Jessica Louise collection and for my next Hot Topic collection. We generally do TFP on full production shoots starting off. But that can be negotiated later.
What i am looking for:
Girls with prior experience preferred.
Girls who are not currently involved with semi pornographic or pay nude sites (IE: SG GG DN)
Between the ages of 16-24 Edgy and non edgy OK i am looking for soft & alternative looks
A girl who can smile & be happy looking biggest pet peeve grumpy looking models.

I dont know what it is but if i start reading a book & get into it i will not put it down. I now see what all the fuss was about Twilight. I read all four books in five days. Fantastic & creative and very sweet.
Im always in such great awe of story tellers. Its just amazing what people can create in thier minds. The good and bad i suppose.

Today i woke up to lovely sweet Sean bringing me in the dogs and asking to take me to the farmers market over the hill from our place.
Which was really fun. Beautiful produce and a tiny petting zoo filled with the cutest animals. Tiny goats,pigs,crazy furry chickens,and ducks.
Dave Grohl was there too.
Then we went to the Observatory atop Griffith Park, but there was not so much to observe (well outside anyway) it was so smoggy today maybe still remnants of the fires.
Driving up Hollywood Blvd we saw Bob Burnquist.
We can me home i finished my book & we went to meet Angelique for an art opening and drinks.
At the art show Chris Parnell was there.
What a funny day of relaxing events with random celebrity sightings. Sort of typical living in this city. Entertaining at times.
Chris Parnell is my favorite i love him on SNL .
I had a really good weekend. Which equals im going to have a fantastic week at work.

Well skip most of the day anyway. We went to see Twilight today. It was pretty good. I havent read the books, but think i will now.

I love it when people send me photos. Mostly i get weird animal ones because i guess people know of my unique animal obsession.
I saw this in a magazine today waiting for Sushi i swear it said $800+ the site i found the image on was $399. For a beach towel. WTF. Ok its Chanel i know but still that is just crazy.

In other news the new Hot Topic collection is looking freakin amazing!! I cannot wait to see the first samples. I know im not solving world hunger or any thing remotely amazing but colorful fashion is like comfort food, it makes you feel happy for a little while at least.
I like knowing that some girls feel extra cute wearing a new item i designed.
I can’t post drawings but just trust me if you like my fashion sense you will love this collection.
And my boutique collection which will be fun too.
Lately i have been taking the bus to my office downtown. Sean & I live in West Hollywood which is in good traffic conditions 15 minutes to downtown. Since traffic conditions barely ever are good it turns into a 45 minute drive.
Now i can spend the same time not drive and draw in my book for that amount of time. I have been getting so many ideas down. Plus it drops me off literally in the back entrance of our new office space & picks up across the street in front.
And someday’s you can help lost tourists from the UK find their way to Hollywood Blvd 🙂 Today i met the nicest people and put them on a bus in the right direction.
Hopefully someone will do the same for me next time I’m abroad. Which maybe will be soon.
I love public transportation.
I have ridden so many different trains, metros, & buses in many counties. Favorites: Paris Metro & Bullet train in Japan.
Least favorite: I don’t have one.
Anyway thats my pointless bus story.
Wow the days are just flying by at a rapid speed. They are putting up Christmas all around me and i still feel like it should be August for some reason.
Im finished with my new collection for Hot Topic which will include an extra cute hot pink pump with my favorite details . They will be produced by TUK who i love!!! I use thier shoes in my photo shoots often.
And have been really great to collaborate with. Hot Topic ive said it before but really are amazing to work with. It nice doing the design part & first sample part and someone else doing the rest.
Esp since i need to work on my spring collection. Which i have started and i am liking quite a bit. I hope you guys do too.

When i first moved to LA i used to do music videos, commercials and so many random funny acting type jobs.
Im a horrible actor. Also a horrible lier. Those things go together in some respect.

History was made today in the USA. And now we all here have a fresh start. If we all work together as a people we can become the incredible country we were once. For far too long there has not been such a comradery between people, an interest in social and political issues and a sense of connection with the rest of the country.
We are all in it together, all one people. Race,Sex,Political parties aside its up to us to make our country a better place for all of us now and future generations of Americans.
I am excited to see what is to come and what i can do to contribute to make America a better place.

Do you ever wake up and just feel drained from nothing in particular? I just moved and have been working on allot of things but did have yesterday off and relaxed and read most of the day. Today i just feel like i could sleep all day.
Just trying to snap out of it! I’m working on the finishing adjustments to my next Hot Topic collection which i am SUPER excited about!!! They picked my favorites out of the new illustrations i did for them.
So I’ve got a few hours of work to do. I hope everyone is doing well. Sorry for the laps in Blogs. Its been draining moving and getting unpacked.
