OK i have been swamped at work and have not had any adventures to write about this week at all. However it was Seans birthday and i had this amazing cake made to celebrate 🙂
It was chocolate and delicious.

OK i do promise updates and news by the end of the week.
I have been sick and then working non stop everyday trying to catch up. SO Have not been inspired one bit to write or blog. I get up i get dressed i go to work i come home, repeat. I have been riding my bike to the train which takes me downtown to work lately. And there is always some type of amazing human specimen to view.
I think with age i have become more and more OCD. I do not like touching things a billion other people touch daily, like elevator buttons (plus Sean told me he saw some dude spitting directly on to the elevator call button in our building), flatwear in restaurants,door handles, whatever other similar items.
Anyway i was riding the train home from downtown with headphone (as usual) Three stops from mine a group of 20 something boys get on, clean cut normal looking regular guys and also a long super greasy bear & hair vagrant guy gets on as well. The vagrant is drinking Joose alcoholic energy drink some sort of purple flavor.
All of a suddend V & RG strike up a conversation which i dont hear because im too busy listening to OS mUtantes my usual train home music. Said conversation turns to V handing over his beverage to RG who takes a huge swig off of it.
Maybe i am just really conservative OCD suffering weirdo but i would never take a swig off a homeless persons hooch.
Fucking Gross.

Do you ever just wake up feeling frustrated for no apparent reason? Well if you have then you can relate with my morning. I don’t know why but i’m frustrated and running late today. I guess i can only look forward to the rest of the day and see how i end up.

That exciting. I would like some feedback from you guys what else you would like to see from me. I am starting to mull over ideas and may be expanding product categories so now’s the time for input.
Tomorrow VIMBY is coming to film me and my studio which is exciting because i love them. And i suppose thats it. For now 🙂

Ok i have NO idea what they sound like but i am now their #1 fan because they are ultra hairy arm short short headband with bang hanging over arific.
I found them today while searching the new Kera for amazing fashions of Japan. Natalia is going there next week and brings me back items if i tell her what i want ( because she is radical) Now i only want band merch. haha

Hot Topic Collection in Stores Mid April.
A few days in my hometown makes things so much nicer. Its lovely to be able to go to all the familiar places you miss and remember all the bits of your life you might have forgotten about just by viewing familiar geography.
So i’m back in Los Angeles and ready to get back to work. I think i have exciting news to post but still need to settle in and figure out my week.

Hello Anyone who reads my blogs, is a girl and also a model….
I am helping Gary find some special girls for his upcoming show. Models will be wearing original pieces of art , costumes designed from his illustrations.
It will also be a performance art type of thing as well.
The shoe runs 7pm-11pm May 2nd for the opening.
Compensation will be i believe signed limited print from the artist and lots of press exposure.
I will have more details in the next few days.
Its quite a good opportunity that could also lead to other things.

La Noche de la Fusion, Gary Baseman’s solo show, opens Saturday, May 2nd at Corey Helford Gallery. Be sure to save the date to attend this one-of-a-kind celebration! It will be a night like no other. . .this isn’t just a regular art show reception. It’s a celebration, a ceremony, a unique experience that you won’t want to miss. There will be women in Baseman-inspired Carnivale costumes, live music, Baseman characters come to life, and a sacrificial ceremony during the opening reception. Baseman guarantees you’ve never seen anything like this. Or maybe you have…the influences for this show can be found the world over, inspired by Baseman’s round-the-world travels in 2008 and 2009. It’s a night of fusing and melting cultures, of blurring lines of reality, of melting the walls and forces that hold one back, it’s La Noche de la Fusion!
In 2003, police in Warwickshire,England, opened a garden shed and found a whimpering, cowering dog. It had been locked in the shed and abandoned. It was dirty and malnourished, and had clearly been abused.
In an act of kindness, the police took the dog, which was a greyhound female, to the nearby Nuneaton and Warwickshire Wildlife Sanctuary, run by a man named Geoff Grewcock and known as a willing haven for animals abandoned, orphaned or otherwise in need.
Geoff Grewcock and the other sanctuary staff went to work with two aims: to restore the dog to full health, and to win her trust. It took several weeks, but eventually both goals were achieved.
They named her Jasmine, and they started to think about finding her an adoptive home.
The dog had other ideas. No-one remembers now how it began, but Jasmine started welcoming all animal arrivals at the sanctuary. It wouldn’t matter if it was a puppy, a fox cub, a rabbit or, probably, a rhinoceros, Jasmine would peer into the box or cage and, where possible, deliver a welcoming lick.
Geoff Grewcock relates one of the early incidents. “We had two puppies that had been abandoned by a nearby railway line. One was a Lakeland Terrier cross and another was a Jack Russell Doberman cross. They were tiny when they arrived at the centre and Jasmine approached them and grabbed one by the scruff of the neck in her mouth and put him on the settee. Then she fetched the other one and sat down with them, cuddling them.”
“But she is like that with all of our animals, even the rabbits. She takes all the stress out of them and it helps them to not only feel close to her but to settle into their new surroundings.
“She has done the same with the fox and badger cubs, she licks the rabbits and guinea pigs and even lets the birds perch on the bridge of her nose.”
Jasmine, the timid, abused, deserted waif, became the animal sanctuary’s resident surrogate mother, a role for which she might have been born. The list of orphaned and abandoned youngsters she has cared for comprises five fox cubs, four badger cubs, 15 chicks, eight guinea pigs, two stray puppies and 15 rabbits.
And one roe deer fawn. Tiny Bramble, 11 weeks old, was found semi-conscious in a field. Upon arrival at the sanctuary, Jasmine cuddled up to her to keep her warm, and then went into the full foster mum role. Jasmine the greyhound showers Bramble the roe deer with affection and makes sure nothing is matted in her fur.
“They are inseparable,” says Geoff Grewcock. “Bramble walks between her legs and they keep kissing each other. They walk together round the sanctuary. It’s a real treat to see them.”
Jasmine will continue to care for Bramble until she is old enough to be returned to woodland life. When that happens, Jasmine will not be lonely. She will be too busy showering love and affection on the next orphan or victim of abuse.
