I recently made this custom-made full-length mesh crystal dress as a commission piece for a client. This material was a bit challenging to work with but really love that drapes beautifully over the body. The delicate mesh material also adds a touch of ethereal beauty to the dress, while the crystal embellishments throughout the gown adds a bit of glamorous, eye-catching sparkle.
To ensure a flawless fit, I built in a foundation that provides the necessary support and shape to the wearer’s silhouette. This foundation is seamlessly integrated into the design of the dress, providing a comfortable and secure fit that allows my client to move and dance with ease.
It looks simple, but took six full days to create, a good part of which included removing stones to sew seam allowance and then heat setting them back on in all of the spots that had gaps.
