Alexandra-This weeks Portrait
This Alexandra who is a hairstylist and lives in the Los Angeles area. I met her for the first time today. She told me she has followed me on social media for a decade. Which is amazing! I asked her why she hadn’t come by my shop before. And she said she would now.
I love meeting people who have followed me forever, in fact have a few people who Ive kept in touch with and become friends with after many years of correspondence. Its one of the things I like about the internet, interacting with and meeting interesting people from all over the world.
It’s always a bit strange to me when I think about it.
Following someones work and never actually meeting them.
Social media, a slight glimpse into someones life. Often times a strangers life that you just feel compelled to observe.
Anyway,If you are in Los Angeles my shop is open M-F 10-7 Saturday 11-6 Sunday by appointment, Im here stop by.
Im still working on practicing photography and trying to get better.

Here are a few images from today of new things Ive made in the past few weeks. I especially love my new oversized sweaters. I designed a new skull and bones for the embroidery and also added embroidered text on sleeve.
Enjoy it. Destroy it. which has been my mantra forever. Basically it means to me: Live life with appreciation, create everyday, rework and destroy it, create something better.
As an artist and designer I am constantly making things scraping them and making something different, usually out of the materials from the first creation.
Life is such a constant ebb and flow that it really is impossible to hold on to any one thing. I just go with it and hope for the best.
